Buford Presbyterian Weekday School
Meet our Directors
Hello! I’m Suzanne Uebelacker and I’m overjoyed to be the Director of Buford Presbyterian Weekday School! Aside from a few years in and after college, I’ve lived in Gwinnett County my entire life. I graduated from Georgia State University with a BS in Early Childhood Education, and I also have an endorsement in Gifted Education. After graduation, I began teaching for Gwinnett County Public Schools. When I had my first son, Cole, in 2013, I stopped teaching to stay at home with him. When time came to look for preschools, I toured many in the area, but none quite gave me the same caring, nurturing feeling as BPWS. I quickly enrolled him in the one year old class, and he stayed until he completed kindergarten. I had my second son, Carson, in 2016 and he also spent his preschool years growing and learning in this amazing school. Eventually I was given the opportunity to be the literacy specialist at BPWS, which I absolutely loved. I was ecstatic to teach again; it is something that is truly in my blood. I am thrilled to now work on the administrative side of things with Ms. Lindsay and all of our amazing teachers and parents to help our kids grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. My sincere hope is that you and your family will be blessed with the absolute best preschool years as a part of this sweet school. I know my family wouldn’t trade it for the world. Contact me any time with any thoughts or comments!
Hi, I’m Lindsay Praplaski! I am beyond excited to be the Assistant Director at Buford Presbyterian!. While originally from Boston, my husband and I have lived in Georgia now for five years. We have a daughter, Arden, who is now seven and in second grade. I am a graduate of Salem State University in Massachusetts and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in both Elementary Education and Sociology. I have been a part of BPWS for the last few years, previously working with Ms. Katy in the three year old class. When this opportunity came about, I knew I’d love everything it entailed. Taking this new role will allow me to use my educational background and organizational skills while working with students and their parents. I love seeing those sweet faces everyday. Please know I will always be here to assist you in any way that you may need it. I look forward to working with Ms. Suzanne to make this an amazing year!
