Connecting with other church members is essential as a family and as a church. Fellowship, family fun, good food, and friendships - these are the things that define Buford Presbyterian Church. Many different gatherings are planned throughout the year including potlucks, catered events, and fun family events.

These events include the Easter Egg Hunt, Flowering of the Cross at Easter, Trunk or Treat, the Children’s Christmas Pageant, the Advent Festival, and more!

Presbyterian Women

Many ladies of diverse ages participate in four Women's groups that meet monthly. These caring communities of women nurture faith through friendship, prayer, Bible study, community outreach, and worldwide mission support and activities. In order to accommodate the various needs and lifestyles of participants, each group's meeting time and day is different. And, yes, food is always a part of each meeting.

Coffee Klatch Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. They share prayer requests, inspiration book studies, planning for service, and community support projects.

Florence Settle Circle meets the second Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the Garden View Room. They share a meal, fellowship and bible study. This is a group of retired and very active women in our church.

The Circle of Friends meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the evening at individual homes for fellowship, a meal, and Bible Study. This group consists of working and retired ladies.

Youth Group

Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings in the Fellowship Hall. Our youth are invited to participate with the Youth Choir, which begins at 5:00 p.m. After choir, dinner is served at 5:45 p.m. Youth Group is from 6:15-7:30 p.m.

High School (9th-12th grade) and Middle School (6th-8th grade) Youth Groups meet each Sunday night for fellowship, study, and fun. We always start with a dinner (either at the church or a restaurant) where when we catch-up on how everyone's week has been. Then, depending on the night, we dive into the Bible and how its message applies to our everyday lives, or we work on a mission project to help those in need, or sometimes we just play games and have fun together!

We have numerous special events throughout the year, such as Lock-Ins at the church, Youth-led worship services, the week-long Montreat Youth Conference, a mission trip in the Charlotte, NC area, plus many more.

We also get involved with putting on the Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat to create a fun and welcoming environment for the youngest kids in our congregation!

We are always looking for new faces, ideas, and perspectives as we learn about God and ourselves together.  We hope you’ll join us!
